Great Commission Society is an evangelistic organization founded by Aaron and Rhiannon Taylor
with a vision to reach the world for Christ. Aaron and Rhiannon met while attending the School of Frontier
Missions at Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas. Before attending School of Frontier Missions,
both Aaron and Rhiannon each had a wide variety of missions experience through their extensive travels.
Aaron and Rhiannon were married on October 6, 2001. Shortly after they were married, they sensed a call of
God to go to Senegal. Senegal is a country in West Africa with a population of 94% Muslim. In July of 2003,
Aaron and Rhiannon left for Senegal to serve as full time missionaries. During their stay in Senegal, they
planted a church in the capital city of Dakar, conducted evangelistic campaigns in the countries of Guinea Bissau
and Sierra Leonne, and helped sponsor and organize a region wide pastors’ conference on evangelism.
It was while preaching in a small town in Guinea Bissau that Aaron sensed that the Lord was leading him to begin
raising support to help indigenous church planters. Aaron realized that he could reach far more people and facilitate
far more church plants among the unreached people groups by equipping and supporting native missionaries than he could as
one individual. Aaron and Rhiannon Taylor are now based in St. Louis, Missouri working full time to facilitate their vision
of reaching the world through evangelistic crusades and through sponsoring native missionaries in the world’s least
evangelized regions.
